Manchester. So famous for its outrageously good football teams and it’s rather good cricket team as well. Sometimes though, it can all be a bit overwhelming and you want to get out just a little bit. Enter Swinton, and this page here showing you the best sport bars in Swinton. Select a pub to see which fixtures it’s showing and find out a little bit more about it as well – food, internet, whether it has a garden and how long you’re allowed to stay in that establishment. After all, you might be after a 6am finish, not the standard 11pm. Fancy something a bit more central though? Swinton

It can’t be fun for the people of Swinton. There nickname is literally Pig People, and their town is called Pig Town (formerly Swine Town). Horrible for them really. To get over a good nickname though you need to steer into it. Well, they did exactly that by buying loads of pigs to validate that name. On top of the many pigs, they also played house for Charles Dickens for a shore while. They say he got all his inspiration for David Copperfield and A Christmas Carol from his short-lived visit to Swinton. If the pigs get a bit noisy, go to one of their many shops to buy some ear plugs, and attend one of their many schools to learn how to apply those ear plugs.
