7 Great London Pubs Showing BOTH New Zealand Games On Saturday

Saturday represents a pretty rare problem for New Zealand rugby fans. Both The All Blacks and The Kiwis have Test matches kicking off at exactly the same time.

In union, a one-off test between New Zealand v Ireland takes place in Chicago whilst New Zealand v Australia in the Four Nations starts simultaneously at 8pm GMT.

Quite the predicament. Do you miss one of the games or spend your afternoon ringing round local pubs to try and find out who’s showing what?

No, you wrap your eyeballs around this hand picked list of great bars in London that will be screening both New Zealand games simultaneously on Saturday evening.

The Sheephaven Bay

Ideal if…

You don’t mind a few Irish fans to craic along with during the game.

The Doric Arch

Ideal if…

You’re going anywhere in a hurry. It’s spitting distance from Euston and a five-minute stroll away from Kings Cross.

The Victoria (Battersea)

Ideal if…

You’re hungry. The Victoria knock out some high quality gastro-grub at extremely reasonable prices.

The Wandle (Earlsfield)

Ideal if…

You like your meat. The menu at the Wandle is heavy on dutty burgers and hefty steaks. Wash it all down with some great craft beer and real ale choices and you're on to a serious winner.

Six Yard Box (Elephant & Castle)

Ideal if…

It’s cold outside - the wee Six Yard Box certainly gets snug pretty quickly. Some great craft beer and the friendliest staff around more than make up for the limited dimensions however.

The Dugout (London Bridge)

Ideal if…

You want the full US sports bar experience. About a million screens, huge sharing platters and a relaxed vibe make The Dugout a real favourite.

O’Neill’s (Soho)

Ideal if…

You don’t mind A LOT of Irish fans to craic along with. O’Neill’s Wardour Street gets famously busy whenever the boys in green are playing. Expect a belting atmosphere if you head here.

The Goose (Stratford)

Ideal if…

You like a drop of the black stuff. The Goose are offering a free pint of Guinness to MatchPint users who check in via our app at the pub on Saturday.

So there you have it. Problem solved!

It bears repeating that there is pretty much wall to wall rugby on TV this Saturday. To find your nearest pub showing any particular rugby match on TV, simply click here. Then select your fixture and enter your location.
