Nottingham Forest Pubs

Having been out of the Premier League for well over a decade now, Nottingham Forest have very much assumed sleeping giant status these days. But giant is certainly a fair description of the back to back European Cup winners and they always draw big crowds, even in the Championship. This year they've not had the best of starts with Stuart Pearce now in charge, and there's been plenty of questions being asked about his credentials. Throughout the years with the likes of Collymore, Roy, Van Hooijdonk and Reid, there's always been good reason to find a pub showing Nottingham Forest on TV. Below are our picks of great pubs to visit if you're looking for a few likeminded Reds fans to watch the game with as the Tricky Trees look to make it back to the promised land. For all football games and where you can watch them, check here.

Southbank Bar

Southbank Bar

Nestled away down by the River Trent, this fine boozer is just streets away from the hallowed turf of The City Ground. Two BIG screens, 11 plasmas (of which two are 3D) mark this out as a place that's serious about its sport. It's just as serious about its real ales and the Southbank Bar always have plenty of choice on offer in that department. Booking a booth (with individual TV) for the big game is an option making this a superb choice of bar to watch the game in when Forest are playing on TV. There's always plenty of Reds fans in meaning you'll always find someone to chew the fat with about Cloughie and Jason Lee's pineapple head.
