Pubs & Bars
A bit further away from the Emirates, but still worth a visit, The Regent on Liverpool Road is located half way between Angel Tube station and Highbury & Islington. It's deceptively large with a downstairs area that can be booked out for up to 50 people with its own screen. They've got 2 10ft projectors set in front of some comfortable seating but the highlight of the Regent is certainly the Pizzas - a massive range on the menu, they're cooked right in front of you.
A cracking spot, the World's End is widely considered to be one of the best pubs for Arsenal in London. The pub benefits from being very close to Finsbury Park Station and about 10 minutes walk from the Emirates, making it a hugely popular pre-match venue. The food is fantastic, especially the burgers and, if you can abide plastics on match days, there are plenty of beers on offer.
Duchess of Kent
2 minutes off the beaten track in leafy Islington, the Duchess is an exceptional place to stop off for a pre match pint and a burger in the summer (their outdoor BBQ is a fine addition).
The Twelve Pins
Next to Finsbury Park station, the Twelve Pins is popular haunt for Arsenal fans, whether stopping off for a pre-match pint en route to the stadium or settling down to watch the game on TV. Also big on Irish sports, well worth a trip when the GAA or Six Nations is on.
Down towards the hipster heartland of Hoxton lies the Hanbury Arms. Three big old screens and famously good stone baked pizzas make this a real favourite. Expect plenty of Gooners to be milling around here in tastefully vintage 1990's kits emblazoned with Bergkamp or Limpar. Expect real ales, craft lagers and a great selection of bottled beers behind the bar.
A real community pub in the heart of North Finchley, this Fullers establishment is a blinding spot to watch sport. Listed in the Good Beer Guide, The Elephant Inn has six screens to enjoy the match on as well as Thai food to tuck into. A treat no matter what the season with outdoor seating for summer and a cosy warm fire for when things get chilly, this pub is well worth a visit if you're in the area on matchday.
Rocket, plonked right next to Euston station and less than 3 miles from The Emirates itself. It pulls in tonnes of Arsenal fans clambering to watch the game, along with heaps of international fans to boot. With reasonably priced pints and TV's well placed throughout you will get the full Gunner's experience here.
The Cavalier is a charming little traditional pub in North London, not too far from Barnet. Although not walking distance from the stadium, Cavalier is full of footie memorabilia that will be sure to stir up those pent-up Arsenal emotions. Make sure you get down and grab yourself a delicious pint and cheer on the Gunners.
