So you’re after pubs showing sport in Northwich? Well of course you are. People always are. This small town is home to no fewer than three non-league football teams so clearly punches well above its weight in terms of a penchant for sport. As such, you’ll find that there are lots of pubs showing football here. Identified in 2014 by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in the UK, it’s not hard to see why – anywhere with this much sport going on obviously makes for a very privileged population. Rowing is another popular pastime in the town with Matt Langridge – silver medallist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics- first learning the ropes at Northwich Rowing Club formed way back in 1875.
