Stirling, Aberdeenshire, is home to a great amount of Scottish sporting prestige and as such, there are more then enough great watering holes to enjoy some great action in. The city is home to the UK's first community owned football club, Stirling Albion, Cricket Scotland as well as the Scottish Institute of sport – the city has competition running through its veins! With such a wealth of pubs it can be confusing where to head for the best viewing, below are some of our favourite bars in the town to settle down in and watch a game, check them out. If these don't take your fancy you can check out all the great MatchPint venues in Stirling right here.
Pubs & Bars
City Walls (Stirling)
Always going the extra mile to impress their patrons, this is the ultimate place to watch any sporting event, but especially rugby and ideally Scotland. Expect the place to be decked out with the St Andrew’s Cross everywhere between the multiple HD T.V screens.
Cold Beer Company (Stirling)
Stirling’s self-proclaimed home of sport prides itself on showing all the horse racing throughout the day as well as all the other action you would expect a sports bar to show. The giant projector screen is hugely popular as is the two pool tables so you’ll never get bored at half time again.
Molly Malones (Stirling)
A brilliant kitted out sports viewing establishment which serves as a lovely little bolthole of a drinking den. Low ceilings make it a cosy place to hang out in the winter and catch those huge nights of European football on any of three huge HD widescreen T.V’s.
