Right in the centre of Newcastle, The Crow's Nest is a reasonably priced boozer with a hugely varied clientele. The Uni's close by, but being in the centre of town, it's not only students in here. They've got two big screens on which they show the action with plenty of other TVs scattered around the pub here and there - always a good vantage point to be had. Add to the mixer a pool table, plenty of standing space and close proximity to St James' Park (sorry, the Sports Direct Stadium) and you can quickly see why it's considered one of the best sports pubs in Newcastle. |

20 minutes walk away in City East, you'll find the Corner House Hotel. It's a big old place with room for 300 or so. With a Car Park at the back, and a metro stop near by, getting there is certainly not a problem. They've got 8 screens in total, most if not all on at the weekends. During the breaks, there's plenty to do - 2 pool tables, a couple of darts boards, and the traditionally reasonably priced booze you find north of Nottingham behind the bar. |

A little way north of the town centre you'll find the Londsdale. With 4 big screens it's just as well described as one of the best sports bars in Newcastle. A pub it is though and you can tell from the decent selection of ales, the pool table and the function room upstairs (which you can book out by ringing ahead). It's a sizeable place and, if you fancy somewhere slightly outside the centre, and you want an absurdly reasonably priced menu, it's well worth heading up to Jesmond for this. |

Slap bang in the centre of Newcastle, The Percy Arms is a traditional pub centred around pleasing the sports fan. There is Sky in HD and 3D, as well as a pool table to kill the time in between matches. The booze is cheap (it's Newcastle after all) and the menu is bursting with pub classics. If you're kicking around Toon for a few days, why not drop in and tell us what you think? Go on... |

Sky Sports, ESPN, At the Races, 3D; you name it, Last Orders has got everything. If you're not not satisfied with that, pints are so cheap it's silly and there is always a lively atmosphere on match days. |
