Quickly building a reputation as one of the UK's top sports bars, Carlsberg's offering in Leicester Square, London, is the perfect spot for American sports fans. Why? Well, the venue is open 24/7 so anything from early morning College Basketball to those impossible to find 3am NFL games are shown on TV. Then, there's a great menu that would be enough to make Obama himself fly over to feel at home with San Franscisco sharing platter, a "home run" of deserts and - Carlsberg being Carlsberg - "Probably the best wings in the world". All at offensively reasonable prices for London!

First up is the Jetlag sports bar in Marylebone. We've also mentioned it as one of the Top 10 sports bars in the UK, but it's so perfect for anyone looking for US Sports live on TV that it deserves another mention! The only possible draw back is that it shuts at midnight but they do stay open for the big events like Super Bowl. The manager is one of the friendliest you'll meet and hiring out the Lotus Lounge is a must if you're a big group - enormous screen and awesome sound quality. Jetlag is not just one of the best sports pubs and bars in London, it'd make the top ten list for the entire globe (well, we think so!).

Just off Covent Garden lies our next recommended bar. It's the Canadian themed Maple Leaf and, with a pub atmosphere, certainly the best US Sports pub in the UK (discounting all those 'bars' which normally show the trans-Atlantic stuff). There's always a great atmosphere in their with plenty of draught beers and ales behind the bar and more food than you could possibly shake a stick at. Our personal favourite is the 'Maple Leaf Sharing Platter for 2' (but in our case, for 1...). They show tones of Hockey and all the NFL early kickoffs on a Sunday.

If you want to catch the late night action, you need somewhere that's open well, late. Our third featured bar showing US sports is the Number 1 Bar in London Bridge. It might not open until 2 in the afternoon, but who needs morning when you're after pubs showing US sports... What you do need though, is a bar which is open until 3:30am Sunday-Thursday and until 6:30am at the weekend! This place has a decent cocktail menu to choose from and plenty of booths that can be booked out for your visit. It's comfortable and the service is normally excellent so it's a case of get there, and stay there!
