If you want a banker (i.e. the tennis will definitely be on - not someone who looks after your money), get to London Bridge for what we think is one of the 5 best sports bars in London, let alone one which is specifically for Tennis - Belushis. Why, we hear you ask? Well, as we've mentioned elsewhere, it opens at 7 o'clock in the morning so, when Federer and co are over in the far-east, Belushis will be one of the only places you could possibly catch the matches. Similarly, as it's open so late, come US Open time, you won't have to miss a game there either. They're also super friendly!

There are also quite a few pubs showing tennis north of the River Thames but if you want our favourite, then look no further than the Fountains Abbey near Paddington. There's several reasons why we love it there. 1) it's big and it's got an upstairs room with 2 plasma screens which you can book in advance; 2) it's near a train station so, if you want somewhere to chill while your train is delayed, it's perfect! Finally 3) it's one of the best sports pubs in London so once the Tennis is over, you can crack into whatever else takes your fancy.

Our final recommendation is a special pub for the summer months. The Falcon (just round the corner from Clapham North tube station) doesn't have Sky or ESPN so don't hold your hopes out for watch the Shanghai Masters there. What they do have, however, is an AWESOME outside area in which they put up a couple of TVs for the Summer. This means - you guessed it - of all the best tennis pubs in London, this is where you need to watch the next Andy Murray Wimbledon semi-final. What's better than watching some great British doggedness over a pitcher of Pimm's in the garden?!
